Our Story
Dan Amundsen began his career at Juanita Firs in 1972. After working as a mechanic for only 6 years, Dan was given the opportunity to buy the station. With the help of his father, and at the age of only 22, Dan obtained ownership of Juanita Firs in 1978. At the time, he was the youngest Texaco operator in history.
Since the day he bought the station, the company has been family-owned and operated. His father spent several years working the early mornings to help his son with the budding new business. His wife and children have worked with him for nearly 30 years, and his children continue to work with him to this day. Nearly all of his nieces and nephews, and a countless number of family friends have spent time working at Juanita Firs.
Many of the company’s employees have been around for over 20 years – some even longer than 40. They are all smart and talented individuals, dedicated to giving customers the highest quality of care.
